Roofing wood screws are wood fasteners designed to self-drill metal panels and tap into the wood beneath. The ¬º” hex head wood screw provides quick engagement and exceptional pull out strength. Low-profile fasteners feature aerodynamic design providing an aesthetically pleasing alternative hex-head screw they were specifically designed to use with concealed fastener type panel for a sleek appearance.


Metal roofing applied to metal purlin requires carbon steel self-taping screws. These screws have a tapered compression point and flattop design, which combines the under-cut hex washer heads with EPDM sealing washers.


Pipe Decking or Flashing is used where pipes penetrate through the roof for ventilation. Since there is no metal roofing trim that can seal these penetrations, pipe decking is used to create a tight rubber seal around them. Pipe decking has a flexible aluminum square base, allowing it to be molded and sealed to the roof panel.


Foil Insulation is a double layer of polyethylene bubbles between a radiant barrier aluminum foil and a white fire retardant sheet. It reflects 97% of radiant heat, a source of heat that standard fiberglass insulation doesn’t deal with. Also it is not affected by humidity or condensation, which can sometimes cause problems with fiberglass insulation.


Panel Closures come in outside and inside types and are used to seal the panel against a flat roof surface. Panel closures are made of dense foam and shaped like each panel type and provide a tight seal over the entire width of the panel.


Sealants are used on a roof to protect against water from getting underneath the roofing panels. There are several different types of sealants that can be utilized for a variety of applications.

Polyurethane caulk, called NP1, is available in many different colors and provides excellent flexibility and weather-tight seals.

Sealant tape is a butyl rubber sealant, providing great cohesive strength and durability in all metal building and roofing applications.

The newest and most versatile is an expandable foam sealant. It expands to seal irregular surfaces and nooks and crannies that others couldn’t seal, maintaining weather-tightness during thermal expansion and contraction of our metal building panels.


Synthetic Underlayment is strong and durable alternatives to felt roofing underlayment that provide a waterproof foundation and cooler roofing surface. Self-adhesive underlayment is used for prevention and protection against water penetration and other weather conditions.


Ridge Vents are excellent for removing heat from a building. Installed at the ridge, they allow the warm air inside your building a way to escape and also control condensation and moisture problems. Low profile vents are an effective means of controlling airflow through your building, while providing a sleek, streamlined appearance with the roof. Ridge vents come in 10' lengths, and may also be seamed together for longer applications. Round cavity vents or wall louvers can also achieve low-volume air movement.
